Just a quick post to advise an important change to my website. I’ve added a new “viewing room” which will be used to preview and share clients images with family and friends. I have always had online galleries for this purpose but this new gallery area is much easier to get around and your images will look much better than before.

As has so often been requested, I have also added a shopping cart facility which will enable people to purchase directly from the site by credit card or if more convenient, email the order directly to me to pay by another method. I have resisted this in the past as the facilities available to me gave an experience not unlike buying books from Amazon as opposed to viewing images! This has been developed from scratch by my website developers and is designed to look great and to be much more about the images themselves.

I have added some weddings from this year to the new area but all weddings up to 4th January 2008 are only available on the old galleries. These can be accessed from the same viewing room page via a different link.

In the past few weeks, we have added new albums to the line up. First up is the new parent album. Some brides have been asking for a smaller book for parents or for gifts, similar to the smaller Art book but with the same layout as the main standard album. This is an 8″ square replica of the standard album except that it comes without the overlays (the images are flush with the page). There is also sufficient room at the back for an additional 6-8 favourite images to be added to the album.

In response to demand, we have also added the Graphistudio range of albums. These are coffee table books that come in a range of sizes and finishes. Some of you may already be familiar with these Italian books - very stylish and a modern alternative to the traditional album. As well as a main book, smaller replica books are also available in parent and mini (handbag) sizes.
